Coming off a great camp week where some of the team ran in excess of 80 miles, the Boys team did a great job at the Mustang Invitational today at Cass Benton in Northville on Tuesday, August 27th. It was one of the best weather days in Mustang Invite history (82 degrees with mid to high humidity). 2 boys ran sub-20:00. The 11/12 Boys took 12th out of 19 teams with 390 points. Although we had no medalists, we had a great first race of the season with 3 boys finishing in the top 60 with 3 running course PRs.

In the 11th/12th grade race, junior, Michael Rivera was the Zebras top finisher with a time of 19:05 good for 50th place, junior, Ke'Waun Stone followed close behind in 56th place in 19:12.  The remaining finishers for the Zebras in the 11/12 race were senior, Juan Rivera in 22:51, junior, Collin Powers in 22:53, junior, Stephen Hansen in 23:39, and senior Luis Rivera in 25:00.

In the 9th/10th grade race, sophomore, Nico Figueroa was the top Zebra finished 55th with a time of 20:39. sophomore, Owen Westfall finished in 23:24, sophomore, Brendan Winters in 26:00, and sophomore, Aaron Hill finished in 27:40.
